I was able to use the api to create an issue, but once I went to use it again about 1 min later I received "Forbidden" I continue to receive that message. What have I done wrong?

Hi Kp -
Sorry that you're having trouble with the API!
Our API will respond with a "403 - Forbidden" message when you have properly authenticated but when you do not have permission to perform the task you are trying to perform. Typically this means attempting to create, edit, or comment on an issue that you don't have access to or trying to use the API on a project that you have not enabled the API for.
Additionally, if you ever see a 409 error, this means that you are making too many requests to the same resource. Right now, you cannot make more than one request to the same resource within five seconds.
For more info on enabling the API for projects, responses, and errors, some details can be found here:
http://www.getdonedone.com/api
I hope that helps - feel free to reach out to me directly if you need any more information. My email is below.
Thanks
Mustafa

Mustafa,
Thanks for the reply.
I am the admin of the "Company" and the "Project"
Am I missing something else?
Thanks,

Hi Kody -
If you're an admin then you should indeed have access to the project as long as the API is enabled.
Can you confirm that you are calculating your signature and setting it properly in the header? Details on how to do so can be found here:
http://www.getdonedone.com/api#security
Additionally, you may want to use one of the API wrapper libraries we've just recently released that take care of many of these little implementation details for you.
http://www.getdonedone.com/api#client...
has more information.
Thanks

Just so everyone else knows - we're still looking into this issue and will update this page if we discover the details of the problem.
Thanks!
