Waiting for non DoneDone users
Sometimes, you have to wait to receive an answer from someone which is not using and does not have to use DoneDone (let's say external vendors). It would be great to have the possibilitie to add "gosht users" without username or password and assign to them tasks that require their input. They won't update the status, but you will be able to track all the issues that you are waiting for.

Hey there-
I'm not following 100% - how would these ghost users ever respond or interact on DoneDone? Is the idea that you want them to be aware of certain bugs but not have them interact with DoneDone?
In that case, you could create accounts for them and send them bugs. They'll receive all new and updated bugs via email regardless of whether they ever decide to use DoneDone.
Let us know if we're totally missing the point here :)

Hi,
Let's say I have a vendor I work with. I send him the briefing for the development of an email and have to wait until he completes that. I'm still the owner of the task, but this task has been outsourced to an external vendor that does not have (and does not need) access to my project page in DoneDone. Therefore, this should be in my "waiting for" list and not in my pending list.
Does it make more sense now?
Best,

I like this idea also. If I'm waiting for a vendor or a graphic artist, if I could indicate this, then my client would understand the status better and would be more accurate that just showing that i'm working on it.
My preference for implementation would be another status that one could assign, although i can see that others might need some more flexible labels.
Maybe a status of "Waiting 3rd party" or "Waiting-external" and perhaps a way to indicate what you're waiting for?

I would like to have a waiting for third party status as well. Can I add a custom status or can you enable this for our account?
